What is meant by work in confined spaces and typical confined-space environments
Risks such as oxygen deficiency, toxic gases, fire and entrapment
Requirements under AFS 2023:10 and other relevant provisions
Risk assessment, air quality monitoring and the use of safety data sheets
Planning, work permits and preventive safety measures
Communication, signage and warning systems in hazardous environments
Rescue plans and emergency response
Psychological risks such as stress and claustrophobia when working in confined spaces
