Agile Test Automation Engineer.

The aim of the course is that the student can identify which tests can and should be automated and can automate certain types of tests. The student should also understand parts of agile methodology and DevOps, and the consequences these have for testing work Knowledge - Knowledge of work processes and quality criteria in theoretical and practical work with automated tests - Programming automated tests - Different test tools and frameworks such as Cucumber and Selenium - Specialised knowledge in the theoretical and practical development of test cases and different test tools - CD, Continuous deployment, CI, Continuous Integration, and DevOps and QA (Quality Assurance) - Work processes and quality criteria in development with agile methods and concepts such as Scrum, Kanban and SAFe Skills - Design tests to test a product at different levels - Solve complex problems in automated testing - Identify how automated testing fits into the rest of the test and development process - Program automated tests in Cucumber and Selenium - Plan, carry out and identify resources for carrying out specialised tasks in software testing using an agile method - Reason about quality assurance in connection with DevOps Competences - Identify which type of defect should be found when using different test tools - Make the test process more efficient by identifying and automating test cases - Monitor testing and decide which test tool suits the problem - Quickly create quality-assured features in a team based on the functionality the user and/or the business wants - Deliver solutions in a team with short lead times while continually improving the quality of the work
