AI in pedagogy and learning.

After completing the program, the student has knowledge of/in: - Specialized knowledge of AI in pedagogy and learning, including the principles of AI technology, historical and current applications, and the integration and evaluation of AI-supported learning environments. - Understanding of personalized learning, where AI analyzes individuals' learning styles and needs to create adapted learning environments, and knowledge of adaptive learning and dynamic curricula to improve learning processes. - Knowledge of relevant AI-based tools, adaptive LMS and AI-driven tutor applications (personal tutors), and how these are integrated in different digital solutions. - Knowledge of ethical and fairness aspects, such as responsible handling of ethical risks, data privacy and fairness when using AI in educational contexts. - Understanding of data analysis and quality criteria to generate insights for improving learning outcomes, and the ability to collaborate between educational teams and technical developers to ensure high-quality AI solutions in an organization. After completing the program, the student has the skills to: - Plan and carry out projects that integrate AI technology in teaching contexts, and make well-founded choices of suitable tools for different needs and target groups. - Analyze learning processes and use AI innovatively to solve problems and optimize teaching. - Design and develop individually adapted curricula with AI that can be adjusted in real time based on students' needs and progress. - Create inclusive and interactive learning environments that support individual learning goals with the help of AI technology. - Collect and analyze data to generate insights that improve the quality of teaching, and turn the results into concrete actions that strengthen learning and improve teaching strategies. - Plan, carry out and evaluate AI projects in pedagogy to ensure the solutions remain relevant over time. - Identify and handle ethical challenges concerning privacy, fairness and transparency in AI-supported learning. - Gain practical experience of using relevant AI services in educational contexts. - Work with real-world projects to apply AI to practical educational challenges and develop solutions that meet the learning goals. After completing the program, the student has the competence to: - Independently integrate AI solutions in educational contexts, with responsibility for ensuring the solutions are ethically sustainable, inclusive and user-friendly. - Develop and adapt individualized learning environments with the help of AI, based on analysis of individual performance and needs, and develop strategies for implementation at organizational level. - Drive AI-supported education initiatives from idea to finished solution, with responsibility for evaluating the projects' progress and reaching set goals. - Analyze data from learning processes to optimize teaching, propose improvements, create insightful visualizations and reports, and support strategic decisions. - Develop and apply quality criteria for AI-supported models, with a focus on continuous improvement and adaptation to technical and educational progress. - Ensure that AI is used in a transparent, fair and inclusive way by identifying ethical risks and being able to train others in ethical guidelines and principles.
