Vin 1 is a foundation course for you who want to build a solid base in wine. Over six sessions we go through how to taste wine in a structured way, which wine countries and regions are most important to know, and how grapes, origin and winemaking affect taste and style. You also get an introduction to how wine and food are best combined. Each session includes a teacher-led wine tasting where you taste and discuss at least six wines together. No previous wine knowledge is required.

  2. Italy and Spain

    Two of the great countries of the wine world, their regions and grapes.

  3. Germany and Austria

    Key grapes and styles in the German-speaking wine countries.

  4. The rest of the wine world

    Overview of more important wine countries and regions.

  5. Wine and food in combination

    How to best combine wine and food.

  6. Sparkling wines and diploma

    Sparkling wines, plus the closing session and certificate.
