About the course.

The internet is on the move! Moving graphics are now an important part of communication on the internet and social media. This course is aimed at you if you currently work with graphic design or communication for digital channels and want to learn to produce animation and Motion Graphics.

Social media has changed the conditions for communicating with moving images: today, moving graphics are often the best way to create engagement and get your message across online. And it is probably easier than you think! And more fun. This course gives you the knowledge to carry out a Motion Graphics production from brief to finished product in a more professional way. Perfect for you if you currently create design and content for digital channels and want to broaden your skills to include moving graphics. We go through different production techniques for creating moving content, whether the end result is social media, TV, film or digital design. The course gives you an intensive deep dive into Adobe After Effects, the industry standard for creating moving graphics and animation. You will get to know concepts such as shape layers, easing, parenting, tracking, time remapping, plug-ins and expressions. You will also learn the basic principles of animation, and you will get concrete, hands-on tips so that you can apply what you have learned to your own productions. Whether you want to make simple Facebook videos, animated UX design or film idents. By the end of the course you will have basic knowledge of producing and publishing animation and moving graphics on social channels. However, the course requires that you have looked around in After Effects before and have the program installed on your laptop.
