The program suits you if you are interested in media and current trends, express yourself easily, and are drawn to networking and nurturing different kinds of contacts. During your year in the program you develop your strategic and creative ability in order to prepare for the varied everyday life of a PR practitioner. You learn everything from publicity work and PR project management to PR creation and opinion building. You are trained in practice to work on assignments for different brands in realistic projects, and we continuously focus on creating PR-driven ideas and strategies that build trust and spark curiosity among people. As a PR student you learn to understand the world around you, in both small and large ways, and to turn this into insights that form the basis for creative, smart, PR-driven ideas. We constantly scan for exciting topics to take as a starting point, everything from politics to popular culture. The program includes an internship period, and during those weeks you will learn even more about what the PR profession involves and which type of role and workplace suits you in the future. After completing the program, a diploma and a certificate with individual course grades are issued.
You are skilled at building new relationships and keeping your current ones going. Creating discussion, engagement and opinion is something you often do in different contexts, preferably with the help of text and images. You are strategically and creatively minded and see opportunities for how brands can sharpen their communication. Even though you like to plan and analyze, you also make sure the job gets done and are happy to roll up your sleeves when needed. Your work sample is assessed anonymously during the first step of the application process.
When you complete the course, Berghs School of Communication issues your certificate. Your name, the course content and the issue date are encrypted and secured on blockchain, so it cannot be changed, and anyone can check that it is genuine.
